The last 2 months have been 2 of the best months of my life.
I was bored on a wednesday. i was bored and horny. Gay.com. Saw a guy online that i chatted with once last summer...nothing ever came out of it, didn't meet or anything. ONE WEEK (what i did on my pre-summer vacation in graphic detail)

Slept late (well, late for me....9am)
Hung out with Campground Effect featuring Camille (fivehourslater )
Learned how to ride a skateboard. I didn't fall once. I impressed myself.
Went to the beach a couple times and got a bit of tan.
Gossiped with my mom & sister every morning.
Went out to a couple of bars one night
Went to the gym almost every morning
Got my dick sucked 3 times.
Saw the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on Friday night. Damn good show. Mosh pit action. Yeah. Really. Drunk queer 19 year old punk kids flipping off opening bands and such.
Erika (my niece) had her 2nd birthday party ever. She's all young and shit.
Enjoyed the weather and was satisfied that i picked an awesome week to take a vacation from work.
Spent too much money.
Bought a bunch of cds.
Managed to score a copy of Foxy Brown's unreleased
Ill Na Na 2: The Fever
Plotted out the first full length Hurka's Hero cd. Thad (thadster) predicts that it will be "still acoustic but all fucked up and shit".

I haven't felt this relaxed in a really long time. I'm on vacation all this week and even though i swore every day was gonna be spent gettin' my swerve on; i've done nothing but low-pro and non-scandalous things. I went to the beach on Saturday and Sunday. Last night Rudy made me dinner and we spent the whole night laughing, talking shit, listening to semi-unreleased Lil' Kim and Foxy Brown songs and watching a movie. Today i went to the mall and to the gym. I love not working!!!!! I picked a perfect week to take off 'cause the weather has been awesome so far. Tonight i'm locking myself up in the cold room (that's what my family calls the room where our computer and stuff is located) and layin' down the blueprints to some of my songs. Recording shall happen soon.

My niece, Liz, turned 2 yesterday. Her birthday party was really nice. I got to talk to my brother, Juan, who i havent really had a conversation with in years. Sal, Juan and I talked pretty much all afternoon which was cool. Martha from down the street made tacos de carne asada. I wish i was eating them right now. After the party i went to the Brit with Sal. It was fucking fun. Drunk guys spillin' beer on us, telling sal that he'd get a lot of dick if he was gay, a drunk muthafuckah grabbin' me, some drunk fools trying to pull off Sal's jacket etc.. etc... Lots of laughs.
I saw Neko Case, Kelly Hogan and Carolyn Mark today at The Casbah in San Diego. Definitely one of the best shows i've been to. All 3 were up on stage the whole time. Lots of covers, some of their originals and lots of funny jokes about sexy canadians, botox and pants that make your ass look good. One more week of work and then i get a weeks vacation. The countdown begins. I'm playing DiPiazza's tomorrow as the rather controversial flyer says in my last post. Now i know how Britney Spears feels every day of her life. Rise above it, baby. SATURDAY!!!!! This work week seemed like 2. Maybe it's cause i'm going on vacation soon. Last night after work i went to Bionic to get the Casual Dots cd and saw Ryan( thelocalcannery ) & Mike D. I hadn't seen Mike D in a long time and it was cool to talk to him. I guess he and I have kind of been going through some similar experiences these last couple of months so it was nice to vent with him. The Casual Dots Cd is so good! Christina Billote is one of my favorite guitar players!

Andrea and I took an indoor cycling class yesterday. ouch. i hurt. I didnt think i was gonna like it but the class was pretty fun. It made 30 minutes go by really fast.

Neko Case is playing this Sunday at the Casbah. I'm there. I'm there. I'm there. AND....I managed to get tickets to see the Yeah Yeah Yeahs show at the Glass House in Pomona on March 12th!!!!! I'm so happy!!!

oh man oh fuckin' man. i lost my wallet on wednesday night. it sucks....well..sucked. someone found it and returned it to me today. what a relief! i still can't believe i got it back.
I watched Latter Days today. I didn't like it. It had the potential to be a really good movie but instead it turned out like a high school production with some bad acting and too many cheesy far-fetched plot twists. A movie shouldn't make you roll your eyes that much.
So anywayz, last night my fellow awkward bitch, Sergio, and I went bar-hopping. It was fun even though the bars were pretty dead.

It was my birthday yesterday. My friends from work took me out to TGIFriday's of all places and made me drink shot after shot after mixed drink after mixed drink. 10 drinks total. People know that i can't really handle my alcohol but somehow last night i managed to not get sick. After TGIFriday's i went out to the Brit with Sergio, my brother and some of his friends where i drank some more. woop woop. Lance the bartender at the Brit gave me a free drink and a bunch of free soda and i got to see my friend, Chris who is usually the bouncer at the Brit but was working as the bouncer for the Mineshaft last night. It was a really great night and my brother's friend Jose was shocked i knew all the words to a shitload of Foxy Brown songs. I also got some pretty neat-o presents. Some Nike Shox running shoes from my mom & dad, jeans from Maria, money from Carmen and a bunch of other stuff from my coworkers. 25. damn. 25. Pull over, that ass too fat. I'm tired i need sleep.

My truck's battery died today. Luckily it happened at home so i had to drive my dad's Expedition to the gym. I was all "yeeah, big ballin' bitch. I'm all of this shit". So anyway i went to Pep Boys and got a new battery and put it in and now my truck is functional again.
I worked on my legs (hardcore) at the gym today so i'm not gonna be able to walk tomorrow. yeah, lookin forward to that. arg.
Campground Effect played at the Scene in Glendale last night and i went and saw friends and had fun. On the way over there some girls driving on the 5 in an S.U.V. blew me a kiss then proceeded to show me their tits. meh. M.E.H....meh.

Last night my dad asked me if i'd drive his workers to a jobsite in Yorba Linda so i said yes. I owe the guy a couple of favors you know? He raised me, fed me and clothed me and all that soooo.....yeah. So i took his workers and afterwards my dad and I went to Home Depot to get some rebar and when i was paying for the stuff my dad comes up with some flowers and was like "here, can you deliver these to your mom?" heheheh! Flowers from Home Depot, that's definitely my father's style.

I don't work tomorrow and i could not be happier about that. I get to go jog in the sand and sleep in and see my nieces and get my taxes done...not exactly in that order.

Yesterday started like any other day. I got up, went to work etc....but then in the evening i met this dude named Nick big_teddybear . I had one of the best nights i've had in a long time. He's a really great person to be around. One of those people that makes 5 hours seem like15 minutes. We spent most of our time together talking and walking around the pier area in Huntington and it felt really good to just chill out. I love the fact that he's into music as much as i am. That's cool. I had a nice time and it's good to know that he did too.

Last night i went to the gym and worked on my legs. OUCH!!!!! I hurt!!!!
Today went by so fast. I went and had lunch with Sergio in Fullerton then around 5 went and saw Lost in Translation with my brother. Before the movie we ate at this Baja Fresh type place by UCirvine and had a really fun conversation over burritos and coronas. Finally to end the day i went and had dinner at the Market Broiler with Adi and Sal. So in conclusion...i'm full and my legs hurt. yeah.
